The Starting Point
The existing theme was outdated and had been technically degraded over the years by work from multiple service providers. There was no clean foundation for evolving the store properly or for helping users choose the right products more effectively.
What We Built
We delivered a relaunch, created a new technical foundation and then built targeted custom features such as calculators and a coverage calculator. Since then, we have continued to support Semco long term with fast technical advice, direct availability via chat and ongoing Shopify development.

Project Overview
Semco sells waterproofing, protection and coating products for projects such as roofs, pools, basements, balconies and garage floors. We have supported the company as a long-term technical partner for around three years. The starting point was a heavily outdated theme that had become increasingly cluttered and technically inconsistent through work by multiple service providers over time. We therefore began with a relaunch and created a new stable foundation on which the store can continue to evolve securely. Building on that, we implemented various custom coding projects, including multiple calculators and a coverage calculator that helps customers estimate the amount of material needed for their projects more accurately. This noticeably improved the UX and helped reduce incorrect orders. In addition, we remain available to the team via chat, provide quick technical guidance when needed and support the ongoing development of the store as a true long-term technical partner.
